Survivor Poem: I Prey You Success

By: Anonymous

Come with me Sweetie, I’ll show you the way.
The way that creatures run like maps through our brains.
And as they make their way, I shall guide you on your journey
Through this maze I will…

Baby, I’ll untie you.
If only you pay your dues and complete your chores.
Here is your water, hope it nourishes you to silence.

Because Kid,
It’s my children that bring me faith,
But your presence is what makes me wake.
Can you say the same?
Are you special to anyone or anything?

Because it’s your weaknesses feed me.
Your yearning for that feeling of cold metal upon your finger
It’s what makes me crave your skin.
These disappointments please me.

My Dear,
Let me touch you until it hurts.
Meanwhile, we can play a round of guilt.
I’ll breathe shivers down your spine.
Just rest your hands upon I
Like I taught you.
I promise. I promise. I promise synapses will follow.
But, we can take my time.

But, Hunny why?
Don’t be upset.
It’s just this substance…
It’s just you disappoint me…
It’s just your fault I want to die.

Don’t be selfish Secret,
Think of what you’ll do to me.
Think of my family.
What a stupid girl you’ll be…
But then she left me and replied,
“Farewell, I Pray Thee…”
